This week has been pretty quite at our house. Abby did give me some "homework" to get the kitchen table cleaned off after we were done cleaning last weekend, but it's been almost a week and I still haven't done it!! It is on my agenda to get done this weekend! We will see, or Tracy says he's going to do it for me!!
Duncan and I went to the pool with Abby, Sarah and Hannah on Wednesday afternoon. We had such a good time! Duncan loves the water, and he sure is not scared of it! He had a blast going down the slide and just playing in the water. He decided he needed to go down the big kid slide and was just going to walk right on over to it. Needless to say the water got too deep, up to his chin and I made him turn around. He was not a happy camper. Then he decided to just sit or lay down when he was walking with Abby and I in the water! He would just sit down, face and all under the water. I would help him up and he would just laugh and do it again. He also really enjoyed jumping off of the side of the pool! He started out by just jumping to one of us, but by the end he was jumping off to the side of us so he could touch the bottom of the pool. Next time we go to the pool I will take his floaty with us!
Tracy has been working hard on the back poach to get the washer and dryer moved up. The dryer is up here, but the washer is not yet. Tomorrow morning it will be though. I can't wait to have the washer and dryer on the first floor!!
Now for the babies and I, I went to the doctor today. To the high risk ob doctor.. Dr. Wang. Everyone in the office is so nice. I had an ultrasound and all of the babies are growing and still have very strong heart beats! I was not even nervous about going today which is a good thing. I just put it all in God's hands, He'll take care of us. Although that was very hard for me, I did do it and am very glad about that. Tracy and I got all of our questions answered, well the ones we have so far. I will go to the doctor every 4 weeks with an ultrasound right now. After about 16 weeks or so, they may have me come every couple of weeks to check my cervix. It is sure going to be an adventure, but we will make it through! It will be even more of an adventure when the babies are here with us, which will be before we know it! Thanks to Tracy for picking up the slack and doing pretty much everything around the house so I can rest and go to bed early. It is about all I can do to get through the day at work! Love you Tracy!

We have been busy around our house! Abby and Taylor and Mom have been over helping clean out stuff, and organize.... Thank goodness Abby likes to organize. We have gotten rid of a ton of stuff. 2 loads to goodwill and I will have a truck load to take to the garage sale at Church in a couple of weeks and we aren't even done yet! The upstairs is almost done, one closet left. Then on to the closet in Duncan's room, that will be scary!
I am feeling well, 9 weeks pregnant. No real problems. Had an ultrasound last week, all of the babies are growing and doing well. I go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks. Dr. Young told me that I have to make it until Halloween. I will be 28 weeks then, and babies do well at that point. So that is my goal, although my real goal is to make it to Thanksgiving! I know I can do it, December would be even better but we will just have to wait and see.
Duncan continues to grow every day. He is becoming very independent. It is fun to watch him as he tries new things. He loves to open the fridge, just to see what is in there! We did tell him that he is going to be a big brother, but I don't know how much he understands, more than we think I am sure. He is really starting to talk ALOT, we can't always understand him, but he knows what he is saying... This morning when he pooped his diaper, he blamed it on Gabbie. He hasn't even seen her for a couple of weeks!

So not a whole lot going on around here lately. Still lots of emotions about being pregnant with quadruplets. I am scared, excited, nervous, anxious to say the least. I know that God will not give us more than we can handle and I just put it in His hands and let Him take over. I am very nervous that something is going to happen to the babies, even though I have no reason to because I am feeling fine, just tired. I know there are lots of people praying for us so I know everything is going to be OK.
Abby and Mom have been over the last couple of days helping do stuff around the house. We started upstairs, cleaning out Tracy and my clothes. We got rid of a lot of stuff! I took a truck load of stuff to goodwill today and also a lot of bags went to the curb. It is amazing how much "stuff" you seem to get in the house. Tonight we worked on the kitchen. Rearranged and got rid of stuff/dishes we don't use. Again amazing how much extra there was in the kitchen. When Abby left tonight she said she would be back in a few days, thought maybe I needed to rest up a bit before we do more, and there is so much more to do. Thank goodness for Abby and Mom coming to help because I hate to do that kind of stuff and Abby loves to, so I will just let her have her fun!! We will get it all done before the babies get here! We are also selling the camper to help get ready for the babies. I am sad to see it go, but we will not be able to go camping for a good long while, it will just be to much work for a few years. Someday we will get another one. We also are going to sell the truck so we can get something that the whole family can fit in.
Tracy and I were talking the other day and we are so glad we went to Dave Ramsey's class FPU when we did because if we have not we would of just traded the truck for something else and still had a payment. We are going to sell the camper and truck and find something we can pay cash for so we don't have a payment. We learned so much in that class!!
Well that is all for now, I will update after I go to the doctor at then end of the week.
Duncan giving his pig a kiss, he loves to "feed" his pig!

Well yesterday we found out we are going to have 4 babies, I am due in Jan but sure I won't make it that long! Lots of mixed emotions and feelings going on right now. Never did I imagine that when I got pregnant I would have 4 babies. It will be quite an adventure I am sure. Well I will post more later when my mind is more clear, which that may never happen!

Mother's Day Weekend 2010
Well we camping this past weekend with Kenny and Rachel and Rachel's family. It was very chilly, and alot windy! It was a good time though. The girls went with us. Duncan had a good time playing at the park and riding his bike around the circle. The girls and Duncan all really enjoyed playing with all of Patty and Woody's grand kids, we counted 13 kids total. They all got along very well. We had to eat in the camper on Friday night and Saturday morning. Tracy couldn't even cook over the fire because it was way to windy, but he did use the griddle to cook sausage, bacon and eggs! Sunday was very nice out. We started out the day by going to church, then the girls went with their mom and dad to a graduation open house. We went back to the camper and had brunch and then cleaned up to come home. Duncan screamed his head off when I buckled him in his car seat, he knew what was coming because the camper was all hooked up to the truck! He is going to have the Sad Sunday Syndrome when we go camping. Just like with Sarah, it will be easier to just let him sit and pout on the picnic table when it is time to clean up! Sunday evening we went to Abby and Rodney's to cook hobo's over the fire. They were very good. I am a bad mom and didn't take any pictures while we were camping, it was just to cold to even worry about the camera.
On Monday morning I realized that Saturday was Rodney's birthday( which I knew, I did tell him happy birthday), I just forgot that he is Duncan's cake buddy for birthdays! So Duncan and I are going to make a cake this week so Rodney gets his birthday cake! Should be fun to let Duncan help me! He loves to help in the kitchen.

Dubuque April 2010
Well it has been awhile! Since my last post, Duncan is all better from his surgery. Thank goodness. It took until day number 8 after surgery and he was back to himself. I was glad, it is horrible watching your baby not feel well.
Mom and I went to the park in Knoxville. Kelley and Hunter came over to play at the park. The boys had a good time. We stopped at Mike and Tracy's on the way home and had a nice visit. They were working hard on their fence in the back yard so they can get the pool put up!
Tracy, Duncan and I went to Dubuque for the weekend. Tracy had a conference on Thursday and Friday. It was at the Grand Harbor Resort and water park so we thought it would be fun to go as a family. We had a really good time. Duncan loved the water park, and his Dad took him to the arcade too. I think they had a blast there, I vegged in the room and watched TV! Duncan and I walked on the river walk, went to eagle point park to see the eagles. We did not see any. We did see the lock and dams, pretty cool. WE also walked along the river walk at the hotel, that was fun. Tracy got to go to the Fenton Cable car with us, and to the water park a couple of times. We also went to the aquarium, Duncan really liked that!
Hannah's birthday party was on Sunday that we got home so we stopped in Williamsburg to buy her gift. All she told us she wanted was jeans, so we went to old navy and got her a couple pairs.
We also attended Taylor's conformation at Christ the King. She was a lector and read one of the readings. She did such a good job. I could tell she was nervous, but once she got up there and started reading, she did an awesome job. We paid for the Dam to Dam for her conformation gift. She was very happy with that because she doesn't want to spend her money if she can get aunt and uncle to pay for it!!
This week we have been getting the camper ready to go camping. We are going to Saylorville this weekend with Kenny and Rachel and Rachel's family. It should be lots of fun. The girls are going with us also and Sunday is Mother's Day so we are going to have a cookout at the campground. Can't get much better than that, Tracy will do it all!! Just like he always does when we camp!!
Grandma and Duncan at the park, Duncan really liked this turtle.
Duncan really loves going down the slides, the bigger the better!

The cable car in Dubuque, a banker build this so he didn't have to go all through town to get to work. The book said he went home at lunch and even had time to take a nap. We rode this up, it was beautiful over looking the Mississippi River from the top. I of course forgot my camera at the hotel so we had to go back and take pictures! Tracy and Duncan think alike, they neither one like heights very well. Oh well it was a fun ride. You have to sit down in the car and pull the string and the operator at the top of the hill starts the car up the hill! It was inexpensive too, $1.00 per person for one way. We paid the round trip because we sure were not going to walk around to get back down town!

We went to the aquarium, Duncan really enjoyed looking at all of the animals. Fish, turtles, lizards, and lots of other little creatures.

Watching the frog

Walking along the Mississippi River Walk. Duncan would rather be running

Ducks in the river, Duncan and I sat and watched these ducks for about 20 minutes, he really liked just watching in the river. Barges, boats, fish and ducks.

Duncan decided that the place to ride in the stroller was the basket! He cleaned it all out into the seat and climbed right in.

Duncan at the water park in the hotel. He had a really good time. He liked the slides, but most of all he just like playing around in the water. We were in the wave pool and rode on the tubes, he played basketball in the water and just roamed around. Of course I didn't really think to take a picture of the "water park", I will get better at those kinds of things!
