Not alot has been going on recently.. I have been resting alot, only working 6 hours a day for last week and I am going to ask for a note for 4 hours a day next week because I am so tired. Other than tired, I am feeling good still. :) We found out a few weeks ago that we are having 3 boys and 1 girl!! How exciting, I am glad we are getting one girl. The babies are doing good also. I just have to hang in there for a couple more months which I can do, I think!
Well in August we managed to go to the fair for a few hours. We took the bus from SEP. Duncan loved it! Every time we drove by the school, he always reminded us that he rode the bus! He is a very funny little boy. He is growing more and more everyday. I can't believe how much he is talking. He takes after his Taylor, never shuts up!! Oh well, at least we know he can talk. He loves to play outside even more these days. We got a swing set and it has rocks on the bottom of it so he plays with his trucks down there. He will play there for hours.
Today he helped his Dad clean out/ rearrange the garage so we can park the van in there! I have never gotten to park in the garage because all of Tracy's tools are in there, but the other day I asked him if he could rearrange it so the van will fit because if it snows, I can't clean off the van and after all the babies are here I STILL won't be able to clean it off! Well it worked, he did it for me, or maybe the kids!!

I didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged. Not much going on around here. I have been back to the doctor one time. We are having 2 boys and 2 girls! Very exciting, we are still getting ready although I think we have all of the big stuff lined up. Bouncy seats, and swings, and cribs. I am hoping everything else falls into place. I am sure it will. I have been having trouble with my hip hurting, I don't think that is going away until after the babies are here.
We had water in our basement when the electricity went out a few weeks ago, what a mess. Nothing hurt, thank goodness the washer and dryer had already been moved upstairs. Lots of rain so far this summer, I really feel sorry for all of our friends who are having water in their basements.
Duncan is getting so big and talking lots and lots. He loves to rock before bed. That is one of his new words, rock and also he loves to say what??? It is just amazing to me the words he says and he knows what they mean. Duncan went to play with Stone the other day so Tracy and I could go look for a van. I think he really must of listened to Stone because that is when I really noticed him saying more words! Stone sure is a talker!
Well we have sold the camper and the truck! We are now debt free besides the house of course. It is such an awesome feeling to not have a car payment or a camper payment. It is amazing to me how much stress is NOT there just knowing we will be fine when I can't or don't go back to work after the babies are born, or if something would happen to one of our jobs. We got a Pontiac Montana, I love this van. It can seat 8 people, when we get another seat. It was a very good feeling to go and pay cash and not have to fill out all of that dump paperwork, and it is OURS!
We have been thinking of names for the babies, it has not gotten very far! I am sure by the time they arrive we will have names, hopefully.
Enjoy the pictures!

Taylor, Duncan and uncle with his birthday cake from Taylor. Pretty cool, he will have to think hard how to get one up on her again!

It's been awhile since I have really blogged!!
We went to Branson over the 4th of July, it was a short, but fun trip. It would of been much more fun if I hadn't of had sinus infection. Duncan had fun at the park we went to, it was like adventureland, but only had 5 or 6 rides and he could ride them all! On Sat we had to go to a resort to see if we wanted to buy into it or not.( This is why we went, I got a cheap price to go!!) It was suppose to take 90 minutes and we were there for almost 3 hours! Oh well, Duncan had fun playing with the other kids! On Saturday afternoon Tracy and Duncan went swimming in the pool while I napped! These babies are sucking the life out of me! We came home early Sunday morning.
Tracy go the washer and dryer upstairs and all hooked up, I love having it upstairs! He also put the dishwasher in. Everything in this house seems to take alot more time than it should! I also love the dishwasher. I didn't think we needed one until I realized how MANY bottles we will go through everyday. I am glad we got it.
I think the house is ready for the babies, we just need to get the cribs up, but pretty much that's it!! Thanks so much to The Hawkins Family, and Mom for coming down and "helping out", well doing most of it while I watch because I get tired out so easy!! If it weren't for Abby it would of never gotten done this early!
Duncan is turning into such a big boy!! He is talking in 2 and 3 word sentences and he KNOWS what he wants and lets you know! He got his hair buzzed off this week also, which makes him look even bigger. We went for ice cream last weekend and he ate a whole baby cone, cone and all, that was a first, usually he just sucks the ice cream right out of the cone and leaves the cone a total mess.
Last night a big thunderstorm came through and the electricity went out. Since the electricity went out the sub pump did not work and the basement flooded. Some of the tubs of decorations fell over and got wet, the furnace and hot water heater and the freezer all got wet also. Thank goodness Tracy was able to get it fixed so we didn't have to replace everything. As of now all is well, hopefully it stays that way. Rodney and Hannah came over and helped haul stuff out of the basement so it could dry. Thanks a bunch!!
Well that is all that has been going on recently, I have to go to the doctor this week so I will post more about the babies after that. Pictures to come soon.

ultrasound pictures
Well here are my latest ultrasound pictures! I went to the doctor on June 25, everything is going well. Babies are growing and measuring just where they should be. The Doctor told me they would deliver me around 32 weeks, if I make it that long. (I will!!). I will most likely be on bed rest for awhile, but hopefully that will be at home and not in the hospital..
We are all doing well, Duncan is growing and changing everyday! He has really started to talk alot more. He still loves to be outside, just running and playing.

This week has been pretty quite at our house. Abby did give me some "homework" to get the kitchen table cleaned off after we were done cleaning last weekend, but it's been almost a week and I still haven't done it!! It is on my agenda to get done this weekend! We will see, or Tracy says he's going to do it for me!!
Duncan and I went to the pool with Abby, Sarah and Hannah on Wednesday afternoon. We had such a good time! Duncan loves the water, and he sure is not scared of it! He had a blast going down the slide and just playing in the water. He decided he needed to go down the big kid slide and was just going to walk right on over to it. Needless to say the water got too deep, up to his chin and I made him turn around. He was not a happy camper. Then he decided to just sit or lay down when he was walking with Abby and I in the water! He would just sit down, face and all under the water. I would help him up and he would just laugh and do it again. He also really enjoyed jumping off of the side of the pool! He started out by just jumping to one of us, but by the end he was jumping off to the side of us so he could touch the bottom of the pool. Next time we go to the pool I will take his floaty with us!
Tracy has been working hard on the back poach to get the washer and dryer moved up. The dryer is up here, but the washer is not yet. Tomorrow morning it will be though. I can't wait to have the washer and dryer on the first floor!!
Now for the babies and I, I went to the doctor today. To the high risk ob doctor.. Dr. Wang. Everyone in the office is so nice. I had an ultrasound and all of the babies are growing and still have very strong heart beats! I was not even nervous about going today which is a good thing. I just put it all in God's hands, He'll take care of us. Although that was very hard for me, I did do it and am very glad about that. Tracy and I got all of our questions answered, well the ones we have so far. I will go to the doctor every 4 weeks with an ultrasound right now. After about 16 weeks or so, they may have me come every couple of weeks to check my cervix. It is sure going to be an adventure, but we will make it through! It will be even more of an adventure when the babies are here with us, which will be before we know it! Thanks to Tracy for picking up the slack and doing pretty much everything around the house so I can rest and go to bed early. It is about all I can do to get through the day at work! Love you Tracy!

We have been busy around our house! Abby and Taylor and Mom have been over helping clean out stuff, and organize.... Thank goodness Abby likes to organize. We have gotten rid of a ton of stuff. 2 loads to goodwill and I will have a truck load to take to the garage sale at Church in a couple of weeks and we aren't even done yet! The upstairs is almost done, one closet left. Then on to the closet in Duncan's room, that will be scary!
I am feeling well, 9 weeks pregnant. No real problems. Had an ultrasound last week, all of the babies are growing and doing well. I go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks. Dr. Young told me that I have to make it until Halloween. I will be 28 weeks then, and babies do well at that point. So that is my goal, although my real goal is to make it to Thanksgiving! I know I can do it, December would be even better but we will just have to wait and see.
Duncan continues to grow every day. He is becoming very independent. It is fun to watch him as he tries new things. He loves to open the fridge, just to see what is in there! We did tell him that he is going to be a big brother, but I don't know how much he understands, more than we think I am sure. He is really starting to talk ALOT, we can't always understand him, but he knows what he is saying... This morning when he pooped his diaper, he blamed it on Gabbie. He hasn't even seen her for a couple of weeks!

So not a whole lot going on around here lately. Still lots of emotions about being pregnant with quadruplets. I am scared, excited, nervous, anxious to say the least. I know that God will not give us more than we can handle and I just put it in His hands and let Him take over. I am very nervous that something is going to happen to the babies, even though I have no reason to because I am feeling fine, just tired. I know there are lots of people praying for us so I know everything is going to be OK.
Abby and Mom have been over the last couple of days helping do stuff around the house. We started upstairs, cleaning out Tracy and my clothes. We got rid of a lot of stuff! I took a truck load of stuff to goodwill today and also a lot of bags went to the curb. It is amazing how much "stuff" you seem to get in the house. Tonight we worked on the kitchen. Rearranged and got rid of stuff/dishes we don't use. Again amazing how much extra there was in the kitchen. When Abby left tonight she said she would be back in a few days, thought maybe I needed to rest up a bit before we do more, and there is so much more to do. Thank goodness for Abby and Mom coming to help because I hate to do that kind of stuff and Abby loves to, so I will just let her have her fun!! We will get it all done before the babies get here! We are also selling the camper to help get ready for the babies. I am sad to see it go, but we will not be able to go camping for a good long while, it will just be to much work for a few years. Someday we will get another one. We also are going to sell the truck so we can get something that the whole family can fit in.
Tracy and I were talking the other day and we are so glad we went to Dave Ramsey's class FPU when we did because if we have not we would of just traded the truck for something else and still had a payment. We are going to sell the camper and truck and find something we can pay cash for so we don't have a payment. We learned so much in that class!!
Well that is all for now, I will update after I go to the doctor at then end of the week.
